Supervision
Ricardo has extensive experience in academic supervision at doctoral and Master’s levels. His current supervision interests focus mainly on technology adoption, artificial intelligence in marketing, digital transformation, consumer behaviour, customer experience, and services marketing.
Ph.D. Thesis Supervision
He is currently supervising seven PhD theses and has supervised four completed doctoral theses, covering topics such as AI-powered social commerce, digital transformation, online customer experience, customer engagement, gamification, virtual reality, and sustainable competitive advantage.
Master’s Thesis Supervision
At Master’s level, he has supervised 56 completed dissertations, four ongoing dissertations, and 17 completed final Master’s projects. These supervisions reflect a broad engagement with marketing, consumer behaviour, digital technologies, tourism, luxury, branding, e-commerce, and service-related contexts.
